Serving the Energy Industry.
Building the Team.
For His Glory.

Since 1982.

HOW WE STARTED

Following the energy crisis of the 1970s, our founder Jim Wright posed the question, "Can I faithfully serve God and the energy industry at the same time?" Soon thereafter, FHG was created, fittingly, For His Glory. This vision for FHG being a company that would be vastly different from any other in the industry transitioned from Jim to us as the new stewards of the company.  Since then FHG has more than doubled in size and has been blessed by the growth of our team from both inside and out.  Several years ago we added the phrase "Building the Team" to our mission statement, reflecting our deep desire to see our team members find purpose in their work, prosper financially, and grow in their faith.  The mission of FHG describes clearly what we as owners of the company are all about:  Serving the Energy Industry.  Building the Team.  For His Glory.

Core Values

Safety

We do today what we would do tomorrow if we had an accident.

“The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.”
Proverbs 27:12

Excellence

We aim for results that we are proud of.

“Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.”
Proverbs 22:29

Stewardship

We treat every project and every dollar like our own.

“Well done good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come share in your master’s happiness.”
Matthew 25:21

Hard Work

We work diligently as unto the Lord.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
Colossians 3:23

Servant Mindset

We elevate ourselves by elevating others.

“Whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all.”
Mark 10:43

Humility

No task is beneath us.

“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
James 4:6

Accountability

We answer to each other, but more importantly to Jesus Christ.

“Masters, treat your bondservants justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.”
Colossians 4:1

Integrity

We own our mistakes and make them right.

“The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.”
Proverbs 11:3
